Well when you’re just happy to be there, it makes it hard to not be satisfied with just being there. I think that’s what happened with the Rockies. I hope they take this hard and come back next year with a sense of not just getting to the World Series, but winning it.

At least the Rockies stopped the Red Sox offense. Now they gotta start getting their own offense going.
With the next three at Coors Field it’s not time to start panicking yet….maybe time to get the paper bags out to stop the possible hyperventilating…but no panicking.
This is ugly, but that’s o.k. Better to get this all out of the way now instead of saving a bad game for another pitcher.
I think it’s time for another beer, or three.
Been on since noon and I’ll keep trying until I get a “yessir” or a “sorry bub”.

UPDATE: Turns out I got the “sorry bub”. I’m not that upset that I didn’t get tickets….UNLESS there turns out to be 10,000 Red Sox fans who got tickets online.

The Rockies have suspended tickets sales after being overwhelmed by 8.5 million hits in an hour.
It sounds like there were a lot of very unhappy fans. I wasn’t expecting to get tickets, but still….this is ridiculous.
