A great day for my sports teams

It’s not everyday when Rockies, Nuggets, and Avs all win!  And all three in such dramatic fashion!  I can go to sleep happy.  Plus Jeff Bzdelik is going to coach the University of Colorado.  Woohoo!

It’s been a long time since I’ve been this upbeat about Colorado sports.  Of course, they’ll all get crushed next game.

It almost makes up for my girls soccer team getting trounced today.

I wanna new drug, family edition

By Keith Richards….

Keith Richards has acknowledged consuming a raft of illegal substances in his time, but this may top them all. In comments published Tuesday, the 63-year-old Rolling Stones guitarist said he had snorted his father’s ashes mixed with cocaine.

I’m sure that if Keith’s dad had did half as many drugs as Keith, it was a heck of a rush.  Keith’s ashes are already being sold for $1000 a gram.

To change or not to change…a city’s name

Should Commerce City change its name?

Voters in Commerce City headed to the polls on Tuesday to decide whether to change the name of the city in which they live.

I think it’s interesting that Commerce City wants to change their name because of the image of the city, but their image really has nothing to do with the name.

Maybe they should work on that first.
